GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — The Greene County Sheriff’s Office has revealed that it is starting a six-month study on artificial intelligence-enabled body-worn cameras.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, Sheriff Jim Arnott has assigned Captain Jason Johnson to lead the study in evaluating emerging technologies that will allow body-worn cameras to draft incident reports from crime scenes.
The release indicates that the technology would help improve accuracy and reduce administrative burdens for deputies.
