Rare air for Christmas could break records in the Ozarks

Whew! The wind really picked up Thursday afternoon. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph became common late Thursday afternoon, with a few spots reporting gusts over 60 mph.

Winds will ease overnight with temperatures tumbling into the low to mid 20s.
