The story behind NORAD’s efforts to track Santa

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – It’s Christmas Eve, and Santa is off and running as he makes his annual trip around the world. One government agency is tracking his every move on radar as he delivers toys to boys and girls.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command, known as NORAD, began tracking Santa in 1955.
