There are plenty of big projects in the works across the Queen City that locals and visitors alike can get excited to welcome in 2026.

In the new year, Springfieldians will see new dining options enter the scene as well as several large public developments come to fruition.

While most public projects have remained on budget, the city of Springfield is still spending millions of dollars on several public projects aimed at both improving infrastructure and adding to the quality of place.
