Two Ozark County residents were flown to a Springfield hospital and a Howell County man was taken to a West Plains hospital following a crash in Howell County Saturday afternoon. The two from Ozark County are from Zanoni and the Howell County man is from West Plains.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol does not release the names of those involved in motor vehicle or boating accidents.
According to the crash report, the accident happened when the vehicle driven by the 62-year-old West Plains man crossed the center line and struck the vehicle containing a 65-year-old man and 72-year-old woman from Zanoni head on. They were both airlifted to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. The woman had serious injuries while the man was listed with moderate injuries.
