Felony charges dropped in fatal Branson Duck Boat tragedy

STONE COUNTY, Mo. — More than 60 felony charges are dismissed against a Branson duck boat captain and two supervisors involved in the July 2018 deadly Ride the Ducks sinking.

Stone County Judge Johnnie Cox ruled there was no probable cause in the case against the captain and two supervisors. The Missouri Attorney General’s Office had re-filed the charges in April 2022 after a judge dismissed the same charges against the three men earlier that same month.
