Teen charged in Battlefield home invasion

BATTLEFIELD, Mo. — Officials with the Greene County Juvenile Center have confirmed to OzarksFirst that a 17-year-old has been charged for their alleged role in a New Year’s Day home invasion in Battlefield, Missouri.

Bill Prince, Greene County’s Chief Juvenile Officer, says the 17-year-old is being held in detention and faces a first-degree burglary charge.

The teen has a detention hearing set for later this week.
