SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Starting January 12, the Springfield Police Department (SPD) is rolling out a new way to share feedback with them using a new tool, PowerEngage.
PowerEngage uses text messaging to send people a brief, optional survey that allows them to leave comments, feedback, or appreciation for responding officers.
SPD states that the goal is to keep the community informed and engaged, and that the tool will help strengthen communication, transparency, and accountability.
