We’re back in another winter warm mode, and boy, is it nice. Weekend temperatures held at winter levels, but surged Monday as southerly winds and sunshine did their thing. Afternoon highs were in the 60s across the Ozarks, and only a few degrees off of record highs in quite a few spots.
The mild mode will continue for several more days despite the first front of the week moving through Tuesday morning. Clouds will move in this evening, meeting up with the incoming cold front. The front will sweep out the clouds with bright conditions expected again on Tuesday. The cold air with Tuesday’s cold front will pass by to the north, so we’ll hold onto mild January temperatures.
