SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — On New Year’s Day, a camera in Springfield captured a meteor falling across the sky.
Greene County posted the video on social media Tuesday that was caught by a security camera at the Greene County Highway Department. Officials with the Office of Emergency Management say it was part of the Quadrantid meteor shower on January 1.
