SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A fire hydrant failed during an apartment fire in south Springfield last week, prompting city officials to emphasize the importance of reporting damaged infrastructure.
Firefighters found another hydrant nearby, but the incident highlighted how unreported damage could have devastating consequences.
