Liquor store, wine center to close temporarily for remodeling
Brown Derby Wine Center & Marketplace, 2023 S. Glenstone Ave., is planning to close temporarily for a full remodeling of the store and to welcome a partner into the space.
As of Thursday morning, Jan. 8, the sale to move inventory out before the full remodel was still ongoing. The store expects to close for renovation once inventory is gone, which will likely be after the weekend of Jan. 10.
Brown Derby is aiming for a late spring/early summer grand reopening. According to a Dec. 30 press release, the remodeled store will include Nature’s Wonders, a small natural grocery and supplement store that got its start in Harrison, Arkansas, in 1994.
