SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Christian County woman has been arrested after being accused of attacking a police officer on Saturday, Jan. 10.
According to online court dockets, Dawn Friend, born in 1981, of Ozark, Missouri, has been charged with two counts of felony disarming a peace officer or correctional officer while performing official duty and three counts of fourth-degree assault, a misdemeanor.
The probable cause statement indicates that a Springfield police officer was on E. Commercial Street when they noticed a woman, later identified as Friend, pulling on the passenger door of their patrol vehicle.
