Greene County school aide accused of abusing nonverbal autistic student

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A former teacher aide at a state school in Springfield is accused of abusing a nonverbal autistic teenager during a restraint incident that was captured on video.

According to online court records, Christopher Adam Cohen, born in 1980, of Willard, is charged with abuse or neglect of a child – no sexual contact, a Class D felony.
