SPRINGFIELD, MO – Most recent growth on the city’s southwest side has focused on new businesses. Now, residential housing could be joining the mix.
A developer is seeking to rezone nearly 18 acres of land at 2000 S. McCurry St., south of W. Sunshine, to allow for the construction of a multi-family housing complex. The property is bordered by McCurry to the east and West Bypass to the south.
The land is within the Springfield Plaza development, which includes several new retail tenants, including Michael’s, Ross, Petco, and Burlington.
