A Mt. Vernon, Missouri, woman has been sentenced in federal court for her role in a wire fraud conspiracy and scheme that targeted the Missouri Lottery Commission and a Joplin-area gas station.
Amy Young, 42, received a sentence of approximately 1.9 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud. The sentence was imposed by Douglas Harpool, who ordered that the term be served within the Bureau of Prisons.
