Light to moderate snow has been falling in much of the area since early this morning and will continue to fall through Sunday morning.

Roads are now snow-covered with the exception of open lanes where road crews have been plowing. The snow is light and powdery with a tendency to blow around. This will make it easy to clear or sweep off your car.
As of Saturday afternoon, we’re probably at the midpoint of the storm. Totals reported so far are generally in the 1 to 3″ range for most areas, with amounts of 4 or more reported in Northwest Arkansas.
Look for the snow to pick up in intensity tonight when the bulk of the accumulations are expected to take place. This is when roads will also worsen at a faster pace…
