Dangerous cold this week after heavy snow

Snow totals ranged from 4″ to 7″ in Central Missouri, 6″ to 10″ in Southern Missouri, and over 10″ for parts of Northwest Arkansas. The snow is a mess to deal with, and it will be on the ground for several days. How long until it’s all gone? See more here.

Additionally, Springfield broke the record low temperature for the day! Temperatures dropped to -10°, and some areas measured as low as -20°. Yikes!

Multiple schools are closed and roads are covered this morning. Plowed roads are in better condition than untreated roads, of course, but be sure and watch out for black ice in the mornings and evenings through this week.
