LC woman targets lottery with wire fraud

SPRINGFIELD – A Mt. Vernon woman was sentenced in federal court on Jan. 23 for her role in a wire fraud conspiracy and wire fraud scheme that targeted the Missouri Lottery Commission and an area gas station.

Amy Young, 42, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Douglas Harpool to 23 months imprisonment with the Bureau of Prisons based upon her prior guilty plea to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud…
