While extreme winter weather may be keeping most of the Midwest indoors, there were a few happy feet that couldn’t wait to get outside.
Yesterday the gentoo penguins at Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield, Missouri, embraced the snow and freezing temperatures to enjoy a special time outdoors. This unique penguin experience only happens under the perfect weather conditions, similar to what these birds would encounter in the wild.
