SPRINGFIELD, MO – After two years of construction, Target has finally announced the opening date for its new store on the city’s southwest side. The new location will be the retailer’s second in Springfield and fifth in southwest Missouri. Ozarks First has provided updates on the project since it was announced in the summer of 2023. Where is the new store located?
The new Target is at 3444 W. Sunshine St., at the intersection of W. Sunshine and West Bypass. The store is the anchor of the new Sunshine Towne Center. The $60-million development encompasses 23 acres. Several other retailers have already opened in the center…
