Jury convicts man in strangulation, child endangerment case
William Lancaster-Furlong, 27, was found guilty of second-degree domestic assault, which is a class D felony, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, which is a misdemeanor.
Evidence presented during the two-day jury trial showed that on May 27, 2025, he strangled the woman for an estimated 30 to 60 seconds while she was holding one of their children, according to a news release from the prosecutor’s office. When the victim fled with both children, Lancaster-Furlong chased them through the residence and shoved the victim into a wall, causing her and the kids to fall to the ground.
