Springfield man injured in fiery crash

DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. – A Springfield man was injured in a one-vehicle crash after his vehicle ran off the road, hitting a fence and bursting into flames, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported on Friday.

Sanjay Jordan, 18, was southbound on US60 when he crossed the center line and departed the roadway to the left stiking a fence, the patrol said.

The crash closed down US60 for almost three hours, the patrol reported. The crash happened near East 260 road in the rural Afton area, which is inside Delaware County, around 11 p.m. on Thursday.

The report did not identify Jordan’s passenger but did state the passenger was injured. No other information was released by OHP…
