SPRINGFIELD, MO – Construction is coming along on one of the largest new religious buildings the city has seen in years.
In recent weeks, major groundwork has been underway at the site of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Springfield Missouri Temple. The location is on 38 acres off of Evans Road and Farm Road 175, just west of U.S. 65.
In addition to the site work, building permit requests have been filed by church officials with the City of Springfield. The filings, which are still pending approval, signal that other aspects of the project could begin soon…
