STRAFFORD, Mo. — The Strafford Sports Center announced its closure in the spring of this year.
According to a Facebook post from the Strafford Sports Center page, the city’s sports facility will close after six years in early May.
For the past six years, this facility has been more than a place to play sports — it has been a second home. The greatest joy of my time here has been the kids. I’ve had the privilege of watching them learn the game, build confidence, overcome challenges, and grow into incredible young people. Those moments will stay in my heart forever…
