SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A packed hearing room in northern Greene County turned into a forum for fierce debate Tuesday night as residents weighed in on a proposed battery energy storage facility planned for about 40 acres near Farm Road 84 and Rocky Lane.
The facility would include 242 battery containers, covering 16.5 acres.
