Class 1 Districts Set the Stage for Columbia
The road to the 2026 Missouri Girls High School State Wrestling Championships officially kicks off February 25th through the 28th in Columbia, MO, and if the district tournaments were any indication, Class 1 is about to put on a show. All four districts battled it out February 13th-14th at 4 host schools (DeSoto, Mexico, Buffalo, and Kearney). From dominant defending champions to fearless freshmen making statements, the brackets at Mizzou are going to be electric.
Youth was the highlight of Class 1 with historical numbers for this freshman class.
