SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Edited News Release/KY3) – Springfield-Branson National Airport Director Brian Weiler announced his intention to retire in summer 2026 after 15 years leading the airport.
Weiler informed the Airport Board of his retirement plans during their Feb. 19 regular meeting. He has served as director since 2011.
“It has been the honor and privilege of my professional career to lead the airport during this period of strong growth and change,” he told the board. “We have a well-functioning board and great staff team here that will keep things moving forward, and I will do everything possible to help with a smooth transition.”
