A Springfield Thai restaurant is temporarily closed, according to a Facebook post by the owner.
Patrick Netthongkome, owner of Thai Express at 2113 W. Republic Road, said in a Facebook post that the restaurant is temporarily closed due to “a private conflict and incident” and that they have not been evicted from the building despite social media chatter.
“While I do not know how long it will take to resolve these matters, I do anticipate resolving them and getting us back open as quickly as possible. My legal team is working diligently to get us back up and running ASAP and we will continue to post updates on our page,” Netthongkome wrote in the post. “I can and will say with full confidence that we will be open again in the near future, I just don’t have a date at this time.”…
