Library Center to get new coffee, food vendor
A new business, The Golden Goose Cafe, has posted a “coming soon” sign in the cafe area of the Library Center at 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
According to a job listing for a barista/baker at The Golden Goose Cafe, the spot will “be baking and cooking from scratch, daily.”
While the library has hosted coffee vendors since its opening in 1999, according to prior News-Leader reporting, the COVID-19 pandemic ended a 12-year run for Mudhouse at that location. Other vendors like Seattle Roast Coffee and Polymath Cafe have struggled in that spot, with neither lasting longer than a year.
