Stone County’s emergency response network is expanding March 2 with the opening of a new ambulance station in Branson West, the result of an 11‑month project designed to improve coverage for Branson West and Kimberling City, according to a community announcement.
The Stone County Ambulance District partnered with developer Andy Mackey of Branson West EMS LLC to deliver the purpose‑built facility, which district leaders identified early on as a “quick win” that would bring immediate community benefit. The structure, originally a metal building with three garage bays, was finished by SMJ Builders to include living quarters, a kitchen, bedrooms for four EMS personnel and dedicated areas for equipment and medical supplies. A backup generator ensures uninterrupted readiness.
