Two deputies wounded in a gunfight near Reeds Spring earlier this week remain hospitalized as Christian County prepares to bury two officers killed in the same incident.
Deputy Josh Wahl of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and Deputy Austin McCall of the Webster County Sheriff’s Office were both seriously injured in Tuesday morning’s shooting.
Deputy McCall suffered four gunshot wounds. Webster County Sheriff Roye Cole, who has visited McCall every day since the shooting, described his deputy as brave, quick-witted, and the kind of person who makes everyone around him feel better…
