NIXA, Mo. — A Nixa man was arrested for multiple felony charges, including attempting to disarm an officer of the law.
According to court documents, Gary Dean Hord, 63, is facing charges of first-degree harassment, resisting arrest, and attempting to disarm a peace officer while performing official duty.
The probable cause statement said Nixa Police officers were dispatched to an address in Nixa in reference to a caller saying Hord was allegedly threatening to kill them. During the investigation, one of the victims was on the phone with Hord.
