SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A Springfield woman is searching for her Siamese cat after he was rehomed multiple times without her knowledge, and she says she has no way of knowing where he is now.
Bayli Jones said she rescued Loki when he was four weeks old and raised him alongside her children and another cat named Fez. When Jones went through a divorce and moved into a rental property that did not allow animals, she turned to Facebook to find him a new home in Springfield.
A chain of rehomings
The family that took Loki said he attacked their child and rehomed him on Craigslist without notifying Jones. He was then taken in by a person named Rowan in Poplar Bluff, but did not stay there long after reportedly having conflicts with other cats in the home. He was then placed with an elderly couple in Bloomfield — the last known location Jones has for him.
“Loki attacked their child, so she rehomed him without telling me on Craigslist. He then went to someone named Rowan that was in Poplar Bluff,” Jones said. “I guess when Loki went to that house he messed with Rowan’s cats. So then he got rehomed again to an elderly couple in Bloomfield. That’s all I know.”…
