Two Springfield elementary schools will welcome new principals in the upcoming school year.
Springfield Public Schools named the two new principals on Monday, March 9. Sydney Dean, current assistant principal at Bowerman Elementary School, will be Twain Elementary School’s next principal and Anne Longwell was named the new principal at Fremont Elementary School. Longwell currently works as assistant principal at Delaware and Mann elementary schools.
Dean began her career with SPS in 2018, according to an SPS news release, as an English and theater teacher at Kickapoo High School. She has also served as an administrator with the Explore summer learning program, including as Artworks coordinator for the past four years…
