SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -The celebrations kicked off Saturday with the St. Patrick’s Day parade in downtown Springfield.
The parade route changed this year due to construction. It started at South Avenue heading north into Park Central Square, and ended at Jefferson Street.
There was live music, family-friendly fun for all ages, and a special beer garden with Finnegan’s Wake on the square…
