Springfield, Missouri – A fast-changing weather pattern is creating dangerous fire conditions this afternoon, just hours after temperatures plunged into the teens across southern Missouri.
According to the National Weather Service in Springfield, an elevated fire danger is expected mainly west of Highway 65 through 6 p.m. Tuesday.
