U.S. Marshals arrest teenager wanted in death investigation in Greene County

NEAR SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The U.S. Marshals arrested a teenager wanted in a deadly shooting near Springfield.

Greene County deputies say Praize King, 18, is in custody regarding the death of Miles Young. No formal charges have been filed in the case.

Deputies responded to the 3800 block of West Maplewood on March 12. That neighborhood is between the James River Freeway and Republic Road. They found Young with a gunshot wound. He later died from the injury.

Investigators ruled his death a homicide. Investigators have not released a motive in the shooting…
