SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Springfield landlords are learning the details of a new rental inspection program set to launch Monday in the West Central Neighborhood before expanding citywide.
Single-family and duplex rentals will be required to pass inspections to ensure they meet city code. Inspectors will evaluate the condition of rental properties to confirm they are safe, sanitary, and fit for habitation. After 18 months, the program will expand citywide.
