FAIR GROVE, Mo. (KY3) – A Fair Grove man who nearly died in a crash caused by a wrong-way driver returned to his former high school Thursday to meet the blood donors who saved his life.
Cooper Roy has undergone nearly 50 procedures in the 18 months since the crash. The wrong-way driver died in the collision.
Roy said early last year that his leg had been nearly detached. He is now walking normally. Roy said that without blood donors, the operations to get him where he is today would never have happened…
