The Springfield NWS Office found evidence of two additional tornadoes in the wave of storms that swept through Sunday, March 15th. The two tornadoes touched down north of Hartshorn, one in Texas County and another in Shannon County.
One of the tornadoes was rated EF-1 with winds up to 95 mph. The tornado touched down 5 miles southwest of Akers in Shannon County. The tornado was on the ground for about a mile and a half, uprooting trees and damaging one home.
