SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -Police are investigating after a pedestrian crash involving a semi on I-44 in Springfield Friday afternoon.
According to the Springfield Police Department, a pedestrian was hit by a semi with an attached trailer on eastbound I-44 near mile marker 79.
Officers responded to the scene at around 1:15 p.m.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. One lane of eastbound I-44 at Kansas Expressway is closed while officers investigate…
