A driver was airlifted Sunday after a vehicle plunged approximately 300 feet down a steep embankment in Branson West.
According to the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, rescue crews responded Sunday to a single vehicle crash along Highway 13 near Purist Lane. The vehicle left the roadway and came to rest on its side at the bottom of the ravine, prompting a full technical rescue response. The roadway was closed to all traffic for more than an hour as crews worked the scene.
