Jason Schaaf threw his second career shutout as Missouri State completed a series sweep of Sam Houston with a 12-0 win in seven innings Sunday at Hammons Field.
Schaaf (1-1) was dominant, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out seven. The senior retired the final 13 batters he faced to secure the Bears first individual two-hit shutout since 2013.
