NIXA, Mo. — Construction is about to get underway on a new roundabout in Nixa this week.
A new roundabout will be built at the intersection of North Main Street, West Cedar Street, and Christian County Route CC.

MoDOT says the roundabout will help improve driver and pedestrian safety while improving traffic flow. The project will also include the installation of a storm sewer and pedestrian facilities.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes during construction. Signed detours will be posted along Route 160, Route 14 and Route 65, and MoDOT says they will notify the public of any closures when they occur. Access to the businesses will also be provided at all times…
