SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A happy ending for a loose dog that became very well known around the Springfield area.
The dog became known as the I-44 dog. She kept showing up in a median off the busy interstate and the Leigh’s Lost and Found page was flooded with messages from people terrified she was going to get hit.
She not only survived, she’s now flourishing in her new home thanks to a local trapper…
