Law enforcement arrest Seymour, Mo., man accused of stealing vehicle, threatening to shoot officers

TANEY COUNTY, Mo. (Edited News Release/KY3) -Law enforcement arrested a man from Seymour, Mo., on Sunday in connection with a stolen vehicle and after allegedly threatening to shoot officers.

According to the Taney County Sheriff’s Office, authorities arrested Cole Hanes, a suspect in the case. Hanes also had active warrants out of Webster County for probation violation and burglary.

The sheriff’s office said they received reports Saturday that Hanes was in the Mark Twain National Forest in the Glade Top area. Deputies and assisting agencies responded and initiated a search of the area which lasted late into the night and into Sunday morning…
