Louisiana has a new all-time high school passing touchdowns leader and next season he’ll be heading to Tuscaloosa.
Dunham School (Baton Rouge, LA) five-star quarterback and Alabama commit Elijah Haven, who was named to the USA TODAY Sports preseason All-America team, became the state’s new all-time leader in passing touchdowns with a third-quarter touchdown pass in the Tigers’ 55-6 win over Episcopal (LA) on Oct. 23.
The previous record was held by Evangel Christian Academy’s Brock Berlin (1997-99) with 145. Haven entered Friday night’s game needing three touchdowns to pass Berlin’s record.
