Alabama Mother Arrested After Officers Noticed Visible Marks on Her Child AL News

(Alabama)– On Jan. 7, 2024, Alabama authorities received a phone call about a possible abuse incident, according to a news release by Alabama’s Fox 10 TV. Ja’Wanda Hall, 24, was taken into custody on Child Abuse charges.

When Mobile Cty. authorities arrived on the scene, a 3-year-old girl was examined and had visible marks present on her body. Ultimately, the mother, Ja’Wanda Hall, 24, was taken into custody on Child Abuse charges.

Workers with The Alabama Department of Human Resources were called to the scene and are assisting with the case since a child is involved.

Based on the county’s current jail roster, Hall has bonded out as of Jan. 23, 2024. Authorities want to remind the public that everyone is innocent until proven guilty under Alabama’s law.
