COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Today is an ALERT DAY for the Valley as a storm system to our west has the potential to bring strong to severe storms this afternoon. We are starting this morning with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s with areas of patchy fog and relatively dry conditions. However, the line of storms will be moving into the Valley around lunchtime and will last into the early evening.
